Hello!
I created this blog as a resource for homeschooled students and their parents to use for teaching basic computer literacy, with an emphasis on skills that may be useful in a college setting. I will start with a few basic topics that I believe anyone that will use a computer should know and work from there. A large amount of my material is based on a introduction to computer literacy class that I created and taught to a small group of middle and high school aged homeschool students. We discussed many topics, from basics of file storage and computer security, to an introduction to spreadsheets, to the basics of using powerful image manipulation tools like GIMP and Inkscape.
